Notable highlights of their nomination include:

  • Installing heat and cooling pumps into several municipal buildings;
  • preparing a sustainable community plan in addition to the Official Community Plan;
  • structured policy around higher density living; and
  • recent implementation of universal water metering.

 

DISTRICT OF CHETWYND

Notable highlights of their nomination include:

  • built a skateboard park;
  • funded a mountain bike club for trail development;
  • planning for a recreation centre expansion;
  • constructing an energy efficient airport terminal; and
  • recent implementation of universal water metering.
